This policy covers the Pondir Teleprompter app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The short version: the app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs inside it.
Your scripts
Scripts you type, paste, or import stay on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see them.
Microphone and speech recognition
If you turn on Voice Follow, the app uses the microphone and Apple’s speech recognition to follow your place in the script. Recognition runs on your device. On a device without an on-device speech model, the operating system may send audio to Apple to perform the recognition, under Apple’s privacy policy. The app itself never records, saves, or transmits your audio, and it stops listening the moment you turn Voice Follow off. You can revoke microphone or speech access at any time in Settings.
Purchases
The optional Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, Apple ID, or payment details — only Apple’s anonymous confirmation to your device that Pro is unlocked.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and, because it collects nothing, collects nothing from children either.
This website is separate
The app never talks to pondir.com. This website, however, does use analytics and advertising tools — that is covered by the site’s own privacy policy.
Changes
If a future version of the app changes any of this, this page will be updated before that version ships, with a new date at the top.
